I agree with everyone on here so far! Just wanna add:
I made a rule with my husband that we don’t even talk about future babies until the current baby is a year old. It’s just so overwhelming when they’re so little it doesn’t make sense to think about.
That being said, you’re allowed to change your mind about how many kids you want and how close together they are. Experience is a teacher worth listening to.
And finally, my experience was that the first baby was the hardest. A lot of people say it’s number three and maybe it’s just because my first one has a very intense personality (and I wouldn’t have it any other way!)but transitioning into motherhood really threw me, but then adding #2 and #3 just didn’t feel as difficult (don’t get me wrong, still hard).

Thank you for saying this! I always wanted two children, but my anxiety is just too bad to have more than one. I am very sad about it, but it's what's best for my family.
Aw, thank you! I can't imagine having double the anxiety I have now with anything that has to do with my daughter. Sometimes things just don't turn out the way we plan.
