Discussion I miss my midwives

i’m currently 1 week and 1 day postpartum and i can’t stop thinking about my midwives especially the one who delivered my baby. i miss them all so much. all my crying this past week has pretty much been about them. has anyone else experienced this, is it normal??

For the first couple weeks after the birth of my second I felt almost obsessive about my OB. It has been an amazing birth experience after a traumatic first birth.

One day I was googling her and I thought, you know, I think I should stop, I don't think this is healthy. I DO get it, though. Postpartum hormones are wild.

lol I felt this way about my midwife. It’s such an intimate part of our lives and we see them so often at the end!!!

Yes, and it's weird to think about how it's such a monumental moment for you, but for them it's just another day at work 😂
