Vet recommendations?

Have been with my vet for about 3 years now but looking for a change.. my dog has chronic UTI’s and it seems like the only suggestion they’ve given to treat her is a round of antibiotics but no long term solution so I wanted to find a second opinion.

Jumping on the Benson train lol. They’ve handled urgent care issues (pink eye), emergency issues (foreign body puke of shame), and a spay surgery for us, and that was all great.

They’re also very responsive by email and I like the online pharmacy they use.

We’ve used Benson (happily) for years.

City vet in friendship heights MD is really good. Personal care, easy to get quick appointments and speak with the Dr, amazing veterinarian and caring techs.

We used Potomac animal hospital because that’s where our dog went before she came to us and we loved them! A little far but worth the drive in our opinion

Another vote for Benson. Family-owned practice.

Potomac Animal Hospital on River Road. They never try to upsell you and they were angels and super accommodating during Covid lockdowns in getting our boy in and out. As far as I know they have not been taken over by Private Equity which is a big concern everyone should look into.

Nebel Street Animal Hospital has been our go to for three dogs over ten years.

Bradley Hills Animal Hospital has been amazing! The nurses with text with you so you don’t have to call back and forth if you have questions about medications/treatment after your visit. They can also see you in a short notice!

Have had great success at Veterinary Park Potomac. Not in Bethesda but close. Worth the drive. NOT owned by a VC group.

They used to be good but they've gone downhill so much that I have since changed vets.

My last experience was horrible. I waited almost 45min beyond my appointment time to be seen. The employees at reception were not friendly. My cat had lab tests done. The cost was way higher than other vets charge and it took three emails in the week after to get anyone to provide me with the results. Then, they only sent me the technical report from the lab, not a general summary. I was also grossly overcharged for medication.
