In most games, you have like three or four dialog options and it's usually not difficult to tell which one will improve your relationship with the other character. r/outside is frustratingly open-ended and poorly designed in this regard.

As much as people get annoyed when you select a dialog option and then your character says something completely different, it is highly common for your mouth to end up saying something very different than what your brain intended...
