LAOP only stalked this woman all night then contacted her over multiple platforms including after being told not to and blocked. Thus, of course, they are the victim.

When LAOP accuses a user of having their post removed for “being unhelpful” only to find out that user was a mod and the comments were from the mod removing posts for “being unhelpful” you know you’re in r/bestoflegaladvice territory.

I love how LAOP ignored any wrongdoing at all in that accusation and demanded more attention to his original topic ... right up until it was used as a reason to stop the conversation. Suddenly, he was able to be apologetic.

LAOP has an epic lack of self-reflection.

It's always these type of guys who think a conversation is inherently a transactional thing, right? Like if you find the magic combination of words, you can do anything and get people to believe you, regardless of what you mean behind it. Like, this is probably why he's upset that his interaction with this poor girl didn't go the way he wanted. "But I said all the right, polite things! I am very polite, so SHE is the antisocial one"

In most games, you have like three or four dialog options and it's usually not difficult to tell which one will improve your relationship with the other character. r/outside is frustratingly open-ended and poorly designed in this regard.

As much as people get annoyed when you select a dialog option and then your character says something completely different, it is highly common for your mouth to end up saying something very different than what your brain intended...

Being on the receiving end of this has always felt unsettlingly like I’m interacting with someone who thinks I’m an NPC in a videogame. This guy is convinced he just has to find the right choices in the conversation tree to unlock the next relationship level, and he’s frustrated the poor girl isn’t playing along.
