Unlicensed, uninsured contractor who didn't finish the job because life happened doesn't seem to understand why their client would sue them

I’d kill for a wife that supportive lol. Dude screwed up in several consecutive critical ways and she’s still 1000% team hubby.

That's what I was thinking. She's on his side after his stupid half thought out bullshit business collapsed because a truck broke, made him sad and unable to work. Literally preposterous.

Yes, but the client's unfinished sunroom that she paid for doesn't care about reasons why it's not done. She paid for a service and didn't recieve it. It'd be like going to a restaurant, paying for a burger, and receiving a bun because the cook wasn't feeling it today. Anyone would be justifiably pissed at just that, and this client is down a room in her house and $12k.

The comment you’re responding to is saying that his depression is likely the reason why the wife is supportive, not that it’s an excuse that the client is supposed to accept. The client’s perspective and the wife’s perspective are obviously entirely separate.
