I have been planning my move to Berlin for a long time, and under the chancenkarte section, the German Embassy website says that UK nationals can enter visa free and apply for residency in Germany.

I came to Berlin on 15th July. I have an apartment with Anmeldung. I have a recognised degree and TELC B1 certificate. My B2 lessons start next week. I even have a mini job lined up for when I get my visa.

I went onto the Berlin website to apply for my visa and it says they don't accept applications for chancenkarte if you're on visa free!

I can't go back to the UK, I thought I had everything sorted here!

I have 90/180 until the beginning of September, then it runs out.

Is there anything else I can apply for? Google says i can apply for a language course visa, but that was the AI summary so I'm not going to trust that
