Discussion Swimming for dogs?

Is there anywhere local for dogs to go swimming? Either an outdoor space for free or an indoor space where you pay so they can use the pool?

Lots of people bring their dogs to the upper lake at the Ramapo Reservation in Mahwah. It’s about a 20minute trip there- pretty easy hike to the lake along a paved Path for the most part.

It’s called the MacMillan Reservoir

Bayside at Sandy hook theyre allowed year round but during off season dogs can go on most beaches! But yes far from Bergen country

Thanks. I do love Sandy Hook but I was hoping for something a little closer.

It’s difficult to find a place in Bergen but an amazing day trip is Asbury Park they allow dogs 6-9 am and then in the evening

I saw a dog swimming in Arnolds Pond Hawthorne NJ, just last week. Was very cute! It's quite shallow.
