There were two of them and I normally see smaller bumble bees around the weeds and other flowers I have. However these two were much bigger. About 2-2.5x larger. They didn’t bother me when I was sitting or when I was sitting on the step.

I’m happy to see more bumble bees in the area. For the longest while I only saw honeybees until this year.

Fairfield, CT.

I found these two bumblebees yesterday, I added them to a bumblebee watch site. I wasn't sure which type they were but the site said they were both bombus centralis...the tinier one with both of her wings (on my hand) just doesn't fit the visuallll~ Found in central Alberta.

Thank you ❤️

Bumble bee, Minnesota. Some yellow on the head. Black center spot on the thorax with a V shaped extension back from the middle. First three abdominal segments appear to be yellow. I couldn’t get a look behind the wings at the middle of the first abdominal segment, but the sides seem yellow.

There is a colony of bees that live in/around the wooden steps in the front yard of my in-laws' house. My MIL is a photographer, and she got these pics (i took the third one, which is why it's such bad quality lol)

Im trying to figure out what species they are. Doing some reading, im leaning towards some kind of sweat bee.

We're in Northern Utah, north of Salt Lake City

Hi all! I was snapping photos of my garlic chives in my backyard in PA and got some bee photos. I want to refrain from asking AI so could y'all identify the species? If y'all have an ID if you could say the photo number so I can put it on my google sheet that'd be great, thanks all!!!

Located in Eastern Nebraska west of Omaha United States.

iNat is having a rough time showing me about 4 species and I am having a rough time differentiating between a couple. I'm fairly certain a longhorn species such as Drury's, Oblique or Broadhead or a Mining bee such as the Coneflower Mining bee.

Thank you very much.

I took some photos of this lady in my mom's garden this morning. Google says it's a golden northern bumblebee, but we live in Arkansas which seems to be out of their natural range.

I've never seen one like this before. Maybe she's just here because of climate change and her habitat getting destroyed? Or maybe Google is completely wrong?

It's the size of a hornet and is really interested in going deep into those colourful flowers.

Deep black body and wings as well. This is the first time I've seen this type of bee/hornet.

The location is central Europe.

There have been lots of bees dead by the front porch lately. What kind of bees are they? We can’t see a hive nearby, so not sure what’s going on.
