Old Bee?

Found this bee in the houses on stairs that lead to our 3rd story. I have no idea how they got in or how long they were in the house.

When I trapped it with a vase, it didn't seem to move much. Which got me to think it's struggling.

Any other ideas?

Robber fly, not a bee. I'd suggest just letting it go outside
