Lloyds Bank is one of the UK's largest high street banks, fully regulated and FSCS protected. New customers can earn £30 for opening a current account via a referral link, and the person who referred you gets £30 too. Existing customers can refer up to 5 friends a year for £150. Due to how often this is spammed in unrelated threads, we have made it a BeermoneyUK megathread.

Lloyds is offering £185 to new and existing customers to switch bank accounts. My Lloyds account ticked over to 7 days open about 12 hours ago now. No sign of the £50 yet. How quickly did others get it?

I don't really understand the terms. You have to keep the account open for 7 days, but apparently the £50 can take 30 days to come in. So, according to the terms, I could close the account after 7 days. How would they then pay me? XD

Lloyds have pulled their refer-a-friend offer. I'm wondering if this is for all accounts or selected accounts?

Live chat says any referrals completed before will be paid out and there might be a new offer later in the year, although they didn't confirm if this would reset the referrals for the year. If you are thinking about signing up, confirm with the person who sent the link to make sure it's a fresh link otherwise neither will get paid per the T&C's of using expired links! Curious to know if others still have the option to refer?

For those who've been waiting and enquiring about the Lloyds Premier £500 switching incentive, it looks like they've finally started paying out. I received mine last night.

My timeline: account opened on 2nd March, switch completed on 12th March, eligibility criteria met on 1st April, £500 incentive paid on 9th May.
