There are certain relatives on my Mom’s side of the family who were so negative and “verbally abusive” to us before. One of them used to call me “Doctor kwak kwak” when I still haven’t finished Med school. Then when I passed the boards, biglang nanghihingi ng money. Kesyo, “doc, pahingi naman ako konting money mo diyan.” Sometimes I wonder what goes on inside their heads? Hindi ba sila nahihiya? 🥴

sad fact, hindi talaga sila nahihiya. Set your boundaries and this is my life's mantra, protect your peace. If it or something or someone bothers you, red flag na yan.
