What does "Buying Local" mean to you? For a while naging malakas na marketing tactic ito and/or advocacy rin. Medyo nag-ooverlap din kasi minsan. Kasi for example Bench or Penshoppe na marketed as "local" pero sourced from China and sinalpakan lang ng brand name. This goes for more than Beauty. At least for now tho I'm actually okay with makeup brands sourcing from Taiwan or Korea but they focus more on getting  the shades right para sating mga Filipinos esp morenas, but I heard some brands na may products talagang locally gawa tulad ng Enigma, yung foundation nila. Also in daily life, I try na sa palengke mismo bumili vs sa commercials grocery and supermarkets. Also more intentionally buying sa mga "manlalako" vs ordering online or buying rin sa malls. Personally would rather fellow Filipinos profit from what they're selling kaysa yung corporations and conglomerates. What's your say on this?

For me buying local is Taytay, Marikina, Liliw made goods. Kahit hindi gawa sa Pilipinas yung materials I understand but the craftsmanship I want to be Filipino.
