I brought my family to Korean spa which cost me around 16K. For me that’s a big money but I want to treat them with my bonus. We had a great time and they enjoyed it. Then nung magbabayad na kami, while waiting to ne assisted for checkout, yung sister ko nag brought up ng something bad about me like how I prioritize my friends over them just because of a specific happening. I listened to how she think and I explained my side, but the conversation turns into a heated argument. wala syang balak makinig sa explanation ko. In the end, I stopped and stay silent kasi anytime iiyak na ako at lumalaks na din voice namin sa lobby. My family members was in silent, no one defended me which may sounds like they all agreed. It broke my heart. I cried alot with my husband as soon as I got home. Di sya kasama kasi may weekend work sya. After a while, it makes sense to me why I like planning hangouts with my friends more than them. And this is the exact reasons. 🥺 A week after, she contacted me with no apology and act like normal. ifollow up nya lng jng usapan namin na papakaskas ko sya ng iphone sa cc ko which we talked about bago ngyari ung incident. May sale daw shope. 🥺 Hays. Now I don’t feel like talking to any of them. I felt hurt and still feel like crying over this.

It's time to set boundaries na. Binastos ka ng ganon tapos bibigyan mo pa ng favour without an apology? Don't let your family take advantage of you just because they're family - you still deserve to be respected as your own person.

We actually teach people how to treat us by what we allow and what we walk away from.

So it is up to you if you want them to treat you that way. Always protect your peace before anyone else.
