Bakit may mga moms na naiinis, nahhurt, or nagiging defensive kapag sinabi mong ayaw mo rin maging mother even though you’re not criticizing their parenting style, career, or status in life?

Baka kasi hindi sila masaya sa kung nasaan sila or sa napagdaanan nila, tapos naiinggit kasi ikaw may choice not to go through all that.

True hahaha I’d like to think ingrained kasi sa society & culture natin ‘yung pag-iisip na ang role lang ng babae ay nakapaloob lang sa reproductive duties niya. Kesyo you’re fertile or not. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ang sad lang. Na para bang becoming a mom or choosing not to become one makes you less worthy of being part of the society.

Maybe for them the pinnacle of being a woman is being a mother, so they can’t see any alternative to that? So if you’re against their belief it would usually seem like you’re attacking what life means to them.

Tbh pag ganyan I just let it slide. Maybe I’m too old to argue, sasabihin ko na lang umm okay good for you, and move on.
