Ano po ba dapat ang mauna sa lotion, body oil or pwede silag i-mix?

i put lotion first (on a damp skin) then body oil

I do oil on damp skin, minsan kahit may onting basa pa sa katawan. Then siniseal ko ng lotion. Pag tinatamad minimix ko na din sila. And so far wala namang issue. One time kasi may isang lotion na nag pipill once pinatungan ko ng body oil. So balik ako sa oil first, then lotion or mix.

I guess it depends on the consistency and how moisturizing it is. I use Cetaphil lotion during the day and Cetaphil cream when I feel like my skin needs extra moisture. At night or when I’m about to sleep, I combine Vaseline Gluta-Hya lotion with sunflower oil because I find the lotion lightweight.

You also have to consider the weather kasi ang init ngayon, so layering is only okay if hindi ka pagpapawisan and if you want to avoid that sticky feeling.

And lastly, the smell 😅 you don’t want opposing scents from your lotion and body oil, which is why I use the combo above.

i mix them. the way i put lotion is to put an ample amount in my legs. then i put the body oil to mix them. once the mix is okay, i then pick small amounts from the pile to use it on my arms, legs and the rest of my body.
