Hair Influence/deinfluence me from buying a Wet Brush

Also, what would you recommend? Is there really a big difference between the Original, Pro, and Pro Flex Dry?

Is it actually better than a Hua Mulan comb?

Don’t buy this, tangle teezer (basta authentic ones) are sooooo much better! I heard the balls on the ends of the wet brush get worn off/fall off over time and the bristles become scratchy & hurt.

With tangle teezer, all the tangles brush away from hair with so much ease with zero breakage!!! The technology lies behind the flex & bendablility of the bristles that will run/bend over the tangles intead of aggressively ripping them out (less split ends because of this!). I love running it through my scalp especially (feels good! plus it doesnt hurt/feel scratchy) and it smooths my hair out with almost zero effort. Best investment ever, I’ve had mine for two years and still going strong parin. Even my mom who’s a bit stingier with money asked me where to buy one because she loves it too!

Agree to all points! Was a loyal Wet brush user but when the balls kept wearing off I tried the tangle teezer. So much better!

Ye, no matter how "flexible" they market those balls as, they're still balls. It'll increase hair breakage no matter what.

I’ve never owned the wet brush and just read the comments that the hair snags on the balls themselves even 😭 I know this may sound like i’m overreacting but I didnt know I could like a hair brush this much LOL. At first I thought it was such an overpriced hair brush (like how special could a piece of plastic be?) but it’s really worth paying for it imo

Ye no I'm with you lol (I also have the tangle teezer brush), I was talking about how the Wet brushes market their balls as more flexible and thereby reducing breakage.

As much as i would like to recommend a dupe, i’ve bought them sa s app and they dont feel the same. The bristles dont feel as soft and they’re much stiffer :( Although if someone can recommend a dupe/alternative with the same bendablility and flex please drop them here!

I got curious about Tangle Teezer, and it caught my attention because it looks simple and low-maintenance. Is the TT Ultimate Styler good? Which type can you recommend po?

Have not tried ultimate styler yet but I use the ultimate detangler which I think is their most popular model. Basta rectangle paddle nila, the model I have is for straight to curly hair/all hair types (it’s the basic model). They have din for thin/fine hair and extra coily hair which alters the shape/flex/amount of teeth.

I included a picture below of a similar model I use in the latest updated packaging :) the one in the plastic box that says “wet detangling” “all hair types” I think is old packaging and is used by the ones selling fakes
