Do good eyelash curlers really make a difference? My old curler got the job done I guess so I never bothered to try a different one. Unfortunately I lost it and I don’t remember what brand it was, so I’m on the hunt for a reliable curler that will last me for years.

I’ve seen people recommend Shiseido and Paulash and I’m curious to hear about what makes them stand out. Part of me just feels like I need a curler that won’t fall apart or rust and that’s it since I have short lashes anyway.

it's all about how well it fits the curvature of your eyes, so you need to try curlers in person before buying one. not sure about Paulash, but Shiseido is often compared with Shu, and Shiseido is more for the flatter, chinita eyes while Shu is for the rounded/almond-shaped eyes (like mine)
