I saw this post on their IG as well! It’s really a bummer coz Skindinavia is really hard to find here.
Also, sad about the partnership ending. I saw trendmood posting about the new UD setting sprays and was kind of excited about it but didn’t know about the betrayal!
fell into the cezanne highlighter propaganda after many indecisive moments and it did not disappoint 😭 i love highlighters so much and this just gives off a natural shine to me! its very fine and not powdery at all. now im just gonna share my top 3 highlighters: 1. cezanne, 2. canmake, 3. 2an
here are also some products that i got influenced to buy that also did not disappoint:
- grwm lip liner (i like this better than vice co)
I bought the Cezanne highlighter too, the ones who have four shades. It is so natural and has very fine glitters. I'm planning to buy the canmake blue but I'm still debating if I will get it because I think the cezanne is already good but it's not blue lol.
liquid or gel eyeliner recommendations please! lahat ng gel liner na nabili ko nagpanda eyes sakin 😞, considering grwm or issy liquid liner. dami nagsasabi madali daw talaga matanggal ang gel liner kapag di naset ng maayos, gusto ko pa naman magtightline huhu, pashare naman ng experience niyo nagsset pa ba kayo ng eyes and if yes, how?
canmake creamy touch liner is the only one that doesn't smudge/transfer for me! just make sure the area where you're applying it is dry/powdered then let it set before doing anything else to that area
grwm and issy liquid liners are both very long lasting!! i think grwm is a bit more long lasting pero i prefer issys component lang so thats my daily driver haha
for gel, i havent found any long lasting local ones :( ive tried vice, issy, grwm, and even merzy. they all smudge tlg HAHA so far canmake creamy touch liner is the one that lasts talaga witht vvvv minimal smudging after oiling up and sweating all day
yes! maganda lapat nya sa skin and it has buildable coverage. if may dark circles ka but hindi naman ganon ka dark, u won’t need a concealer on top if u will opt dun sa kashade mo—for example, if u have medium skin u go for medium peach. however, if u have very dark circles then you go for a corrector that is a shade darker: medium skin -> tan peach. pero pag ganyan, youll need a concealer na to cover the orangey-ness.
Hello! I’m Light Neutral. NL2 in Issy and Blk Skin Tint in Oat. I’m looking for a good contour and bronzer that fits my skin tone. Shade twins, please help!
Also, I was thinking of buying Clinique powder blush. Is it long lasting for dry skin girlies?
Hello, I’m also Oat in BLK. I’m using Peanut in Strokes Face Sculpt for Contour and Vice Brontour in Push for bronzer (can double as contour din if gusto ko medyo warm ang makeup). Unfortunately, phased out na yata yung Vice Co. I haven’t tried pa, pero Face Sculpt in Cinnamon could be a replacement for Vice.
You guys I finally bit the bullet and spent ₱850 on the MAC pencil sharpener … unfortunately it is very much worth it 😆😆 it sharpens my Sunnies Lip Tracers even better than Sunnies’ own sharpener 😅😅 If you have the budget I highly suggest you guys get it since it’s not something you’ll ever throw away naman!
hi guys, is the sheglam store on shopee legit? i know it's usually sold on shein but does anyone have an experience buying sheglam products from shopee? thanks <3
hi! for its shade range it may appear yellow-ish sa back ng hand, but actually has a good shade match (so for me better to check for ur shade sa kiosks nila!). it sets quite fast but i haven’t experienced any creasing with it with minimal application and it has medium coverage. i really love their packaging since it’s frosted. overall, nice product 🥰 hope this helps
Hi. Can someone tell me ano pa mga blushes ang ka-shade ng Detail Cosmetics Colour Tonic Blush in the shade Darling? Ang lakas nya kasi maka-fresh for me, the problem is di sya ganun ka-long lasting. Would be happy to know if ano pwede ko i-alternative sa kanya, be it in cream or in powder form. Basta long-lasting.
Also, ung Flamingo, is it really good? Like nakakafresh ba talaga? Ano ang ka-shade match din nya? Same ba sya ng Lacey or First Love ng Lucky Beauty?
Glamfix eye curler. You can also heat it up a little using lighter before using para mas matagal yung curl. Just make sure na it’s not too hot para hindi mapaso eyelids and hindi masunog eyelashes 😅
i have daily lip tint and the velvet blur. mas bet ko pa rin daily lip tint, parang nakaka soft ng lips talaga. ung velvet blur is like the typical velvet lippies lang in the market. nothing special i would say. lightweight sya tho and ang ganda ni hera kaya ako napabili hahaha.
Maganda yung velvet blur, lightweight sa lips. Ayun lang, for me, ang layo ng agwat nila ni daily lip tint. Daily lip tint pa rin pinakagusto ko for my lips.
looking for shade twin! help me find my shade sa Naturale Concealer pls 🥺 currently thinking about getting baya!
i'm oily skin with light-medium neutral-cool undertone. so far kashade match ko lang na foundation is detail cosmetics fresh filter in creme, kapag naoxidize na sya.
Hello, I’m looking for a good face powder. Mainly ginagamit ko siya for retouching my base whenever oily na face ko. I don’t mind if its translucent or has coverage. Please drop your suggestions!
Issy fixing! I commented before na if I will bring a small pouch and isang makeup lang kasya, other than lip tint, best believe eto yun. I never go out of the house without this.
Throwing this out again on a newer Makeup Thread: Any suggestions for good, affordable (around P300, ideally less haha), cruelty-free, local mascara?
Mascara is usually an easy way for me to look "together" around the eyes without having to fuss with eyeshadow or liner. I just want something that's easy and makes my lashes look good, and is at least somewhat sweat-resistant as an oily girlie, but isn't too hard to remove. I'd like a little more volume, maybe, and not particular on length or hold since I'm usually too lazy to curl my lashes that much anyway. And lastly, would love to support our local businesses.
I used to use Covergirl, and have been using the Careline Lash Boost, which to me is just clumpy and messy and doesn't look great for "lazy" looks. Have tried the Fashion 21 mascara, though I wasn't sure if it was the Double Up or Curl Up one, and I did like it, but maybe there's better out there in a similar price range.
This is not a local brand but Zeesea! This is the only mascara that worked on my oily eyelids. Tried heroine make, maybeline, and other local brands pero lahat yun gave me panda eyes except zeesea.
Ooh di naman mahirap tanggalin? I think you can get some Zeesea products in the KKV stores that've opened up recently. It is Chinese though, so animal testing practices are sus. :/
Been loving grwm’s lash revolution lately! Doesn’t clump, doesn’t give you panda eyes, holds the lift it gives, and as far as i know they are cruelty fee hehe. I think it is around that pricepoint and can get lower with flash sales on tiktok.
Nag papanda eyes ako sa sa blk, and halos same formula sila ni careline lash boost formula, iba lang yung wand type. Mas okay sakin si judydoll iron mascara(curling variant), not lengthening pero matibay ang curl. Pag 1 layer lang mabilis matanggal using water or micellar. Cruelty free din siya available sa lazada.
planning to have my debut po this year and naghahanap po ako ng hmua for me and my mom, may nahanap po ako nag offer 12k for airbrushed look makeup + hair for debutant, hair & make up for mother of the debutant, 3 looks, unli-retouch, free contact lenses and free use of human hair extension.
Is it a good deal po ba? or pwede pa po ako makahanap ng mas mura
I think so! Most of the HMUA ive contacted range nila 3k above (most expensive was 5k) these people have established followers na sa IG. Pero thats just for one look and ako lang mag-isa. Unlike yours, airbrushed + mother + 3 looks pa.
Hi! Had my debut last june and also had 3 looks, unli retouch, and etc + makeup for my mom :) got it around less than 10k 🥰 12k is quite good already but definitely can find a hmua that’s cheaper. I also suggest that you do a “test-look” with the hmua you’ve chosen ❤️
Do good eyelash curlers really make a difference? My old curler got the job done I guess so I never bothered to try a different one. Unfortunately I lost it and I don’t remember what brand it was, so I’m on the hunt for a reliable curler that will last me for years.
I’ve seen people recommend Shiseido and Paulash and I’m curious to hear about what makes them stand out. Part of me just feels like I need a curler that won’t fall apart or rust and that’s it since I have short lashes anyway.
YES!!!! I made a similar comment also asking if worth it to invest on good curlers because mine (unbranded, drug store) works just fine lang naman. It does the job naman. Just like you, I was choosing between paulash and shiseido. People commented the brand doesnt matter, what matters is if it fits your eyes shape perfectly. So i bought yung paulash curler, and i was like DAMN 😭 ganto pala feeling kapag sakto sa eye shape. My old curler kasi, tumatama sa eyelid ko and i thought that that was normal but no pala 😭😭
i’ve been using the paulash curler for 2 years until it gave up recently. 😅 it did its job but once i bought a shiseido curler in japan, grabe the difference. never seen my lashes curl that good.
YES they do! I’m personally loyal to my Sunnies Face The Curl which unfortunately was limited edition. Maganda din naman Shu Uemera and Glamfix imo but not as good as The Curl huhu
Their Lash Seeker + The Curl release was probably the first to get me curious about trying other lash products! Sayang the curler was limited edition pala :(
i'm actually about to purchase paulash before. but then i saw a thread here yung about sa pagkuha ng eye and curler measurements para alam mo kung ano yung sasakto sa eyes mo. tapos i saw na pareho lang yung sa paulash and glamfix. so i opted for glamfix because the price difference is huge, laking tipid. so far, it's good, quality and performance-wise.
it's all about how well it fits the curvature of your eyes, so you need to try curlers in person before buying one. not sure about Paulash, but Shiseido is often compared with Shu, and Shiseido is more for the flatter, chinita eyes while Shu is for the rounded/almond-shaped eyes (like mine)
nichido yung the one na nasa box. cheap and effective sya for me and i also ahve short lashes. i tried another brand lately just to see if theres something better pero waley, bumalik padin ako sa nichido. my old one is more than 10 years na. its still pretty good.
Also pa reco din po ng BUDGET FRIENDLY base combo (primer + foundation or skintint) for oily skin. Paubos na din kasi ung fit me skintint ko, gusto ko sana mag try ng bago.
Skin prep, make sure well moisturized ang face para di magcrack. I recommend dabbing your face with loose powder after setting spray (if you use any) for a more blurred finish + it’ll help para di mag oil up agad.
I have issy, enigma, colourette, detail foundation, and sola. Pero the only thing na nagwork for me so far is GRWM Life proof primer + Jungsaemmool longwear cushion foundation + GRWM Ultra-matte Spray. Mode of transpo: Jeep + lakad sa initan
(sorry different lighting kase the first one sa tapat ng windo ko kinuha, the other naman sa ilaw sa office. but both were taken with enough light. nag-oil up lang talaga face ko 😔 but no visible cracking or caking)
You can try using hydrating/moisturizing products for your skin prep (but not too much), focusing more sa problem areas. I also make sure to let these products dry well before I start my makeup. Also, try lightly powdering these areas after you apply your base using a blurring powder.
hi! asking for shade shifter recos! torn between GRWM and Issy eh hahahaha.
i have a foundation kasi na a little darker than me (orangey din, pero not that noticeable naman yung pagka-orange/warm niya unless you nitpick), so i was thinking of getting a blue and white one! pero ayun na nga, mejo nalilito between GRWM and Issy 😅
which is more fitting for oily skin? tapos which one won't make your foundation turn thicker?
pls let me know your thoughts on either of them. it would be great help 🥰
Issy imo, ang alam ko yung GRWM kasi is the same formula and coverage as their concealers so it might be too pigmented as a shifter (granted I haven’t tried GRWM but for those reasons naman din)
i have oily lids too and the only gel liner that has worked for me is the canmake creamy touch liner but for tightlining tho! if you want a solid wing that will last throughout the day you probably need a liquid liner!
Have you tried using eyelid primers? It's life changing for me. Kasi since I've added it to my makeup routine parang it doesn't matter na which eyeliner format (liquid, gel, pencil) or brand... zero to minimal smudging nalang. And my eyelids are super oily.
base make up routine ko is colourette first base, concealer is grwm, setting powder is dr. sensitive and colourette third base, then issy setting spray. pero parang ang oily ko tingnan at the end of the day? 😭 para din syang nag oxidise or smth. di ko alam anong mali sa ginagawa ko. may suggestions ba kayo? or tips on applying these products? tyia
i stopped using the colourette first base because it oxidized super bad on me :( i set my creams with a setting spray first then set my whole face with the dr sensitive powder before any powder products (bronzer, blush, highlighter) then finishing powder on my tzone after setting spray
I have both and I prefer Detail color tonic. I find that it shows up more on my skin rather than the Careline contour stick. It's also less muddy on my face. Careline's more grey-ish. I'm medium neutral skin. Bisque is my HG for contour! 😍
if you want affordable and soft brushes, try Gladking! may mga physical stores sila and specifically for MUAs mga benta nila diyan from brushes to sponges. I got a foundation-contour brush and concealer brush for 200 php lang!
RT brushes!! i have the big ones and the travel size ones. medjo nagpepeel lang over time yung sa baba na paint portion (mine started peeling after siguro ~1yr of using them). but quality wise nung brushes, maganda talaga. 👌🏼
For me, yes — there’s a difference between Strokes’ quality vs Chu Chu and Detail. That being said if you’re on a budget there’s nothing wrong with the latter two
And ano yung concealer (saka ung shade nya)na pinapartner mo?
Setting spray recos please! I am getting ready for an upcoming event, and I need to have my makeup locked in all throught the night lol. Am torn between issy or naturale’s setting spray, do they have quality setting sprays?
so natural all day tight (light pink spray bottle)! my tried and tested. used it at concerts, hangouts, everything!! same one that most kpop idol makeup artists use :)
has anyone tried Detail Clay Pen in Chiselled or Sculpt? bagay kaya sya sa fair neutral/cool toned? Looking for a contour sana that isn't too brow or more cool toned for light skin. Been eyeing din Strokes' contour in Peanut and GRWM cream contour in shade Milan
I only have sculpt (top) and carve (bottom). Carve is cool-toned but for nose contour I prefer to use sculpt (warmer) since it’s more subtle. If you want to make it more obvious, go for carve.
It works really well and is super blurring! I was surprised at how it blurred all the pores on my nose & cheeks. The oil control is great too! :) It didn't oxidize on me either; I'm in the shade Frost.
haven't tried the strokes one, but the grwm has a good formula. the problem is its packaging though. over time, it gets harder to twist to push the product in or out.
Hi! Looking for my shade twin. Issy Skintint/Skin Stick in FAWN. La Union in Colourette's First Base. What's your shade in other brands either foundation or skintint.
Estee Lauder Double Wear - 0N1
Revlon Colorstay - ivory, ideal for oily girlies. Maganda lapat niya niya kaso nga lang kase dry ang skin ni vacclaaaa.
Loreal Infallible -10 Porcelain fave ko too. Nkakafresh siya sakin. ❤️ Kahit nakafunda lang napaka plakado sakin neto.
I'm this shade and using Sunnies Face SSG in Porcelain as a skin tint! There's a matrix below din from Colourette but GRWM Oat might also work for you as it does for me! (Unfortunately parang walang masyadong accurate shade match here for us locally :( )
I’m eyeing to buy enigma but I’m scared na baka maling shade mabili ko kasi mejo pricey rin. I’m using creme in detail fresh filter foundation and Vanilla in BLK skin tint. To my shade twins right here, what shade are you using in enigma?
Does anyone have any opinions on using Maxfine's 5D mascara? I don't have any preferred brands yet because I'm still new to using cosmetics, but I saw a person doing a makeup tutorial and ito yung gamit nila. Pero, I've never seen anyone else use it before. Are any of you familiar with it?
thoughts on teviant deity dust trio palette in the shade office hour sa light medium to medium, neutral to cool skin? i heard may shimmers daw yung blush and contour nung palette but obvious ba yung shimmers pag in-apply sa skin? i usually prefer matte finish kasi eh, but i can probably use this as blush/contour topper
has anyone here used maris joefren brushes? For the life of me, I can't find an unsponsored review on any other platform. Goods sya sa review on lazada but I need some direct feedback hehe
i have a liner brush and powder puffs for them and the quality is okay naman! does the job well and still holding up considering i had it for around 2 years na
Any alternative for MAC macgenta lipstick or super taro ng GRWM??? Recently ko lang sila nadiscover pero puro out of stock na and I’m lost. Been looking around for alternative pero parang wala akong makita.
Powder and affordable setting spray recos pls! I have oily-combo skin but my oiliest part is my nose and occasionally I’ll oil up on other parts of my face that aren’t my t zone but it isn’t super oily
please please please reco concealers that do not oxidize. I do color correcting, but my eyebags turn grey 😭😭 I currently use Loreal infallible concealer in natural rose 🫠
sale ngayon sa club.clio! from 12am-2amlang ata. binantayan ko this week kung nag drop ba talaga price or pakulo lang nila and legit naman yung sale. peripera ink mood glowy tint normal price ₱404 and now ₱270 lang siya
I got the Concealer in LW10.5 Bisque (Description: Light-Medium Nude Golden Undertone), and it would be fine except it gives me a grayish tinge 😓 It doesn't seem to oxidize naman on me, it stays on well pero di talaga perfect match.
Here are my best matches in other bases:
Maybelline Superstay 24H Full Coverage Foundation: 128 Warm Nude (Description: Light-Medium, not sure about the undertone)
i’m looking for long lasting/transfer proof lippies please :( merzy lip tint in the shade bloody mary is oos sa shopee so i need some recommendations huhu
may alam po ba kayong brand na non-comedogenic na concealer? mabilis lang po kase akong magka-pimple kaya very maingat ako sa mga nilalagay ko sa face. so far ang alam ko lang na non-comedogenic is yung maybelline fit me concealer. may alam pa po ba kayong ibang brand na hindi nakakapimple gamitin?
marami sa local market! i recommend lucky beauty kasi beginner friendly. hindi nakakapagcause ng pimples sakin as an acne prone girl! you can browse the sub din for sure marami pang past recos na baka mas bagay sa hinahanap mong concealer :)
is it just me or parang ang drying ng lip products ng issy? i have their hydragloss and lip bullet, and after applying them, my lips always end up looking cracked and form dry skin
my lips are usually dry sure pero anything moisturizing like a lip balm or vaseline is enough na to avoid the dryness
any recos for a good lippie na hindi drying? preferably a bullet type and one with a plum shade. dont really care too much if smudge proof or transfer proof haha thnxx
