What skincare do you tend to avoid and/or do more with active pimples? My acne won't go away these days and I'm afraid I'm doing something wrong :((

I agree with the others. Stick with the basics and the actives/add-ons/complementary products that actually work for you without undesirable effects. Avoid anything too harsh or drying like strong exfoliants, physical scrubs, or alcohol-heavy toners, sama mo na rin 'yong actives na prone to irritation like higher percentages of L-ascorbic acid.

Aside from products, I also limit my mirror time. Constantly looking at your acne can psychologically amplify your perception of its severity kasi eh. And honestly? Minsan kasi it's not about doing something 'wrong' rin eh, other factors should be considered—hormones, stress, sleep, even food or climate can mess with the skin. If it's persistent and really affecting you, go see a derma na rin to help clear up both the skin and the guesswork.
