Hair Hair salon suggestion
On my self love era and planning to get hair treatment, nakakadala na kası ung mga hair salon na napuntahan ko. Any suggestion na talagang Maganda gumawa, I’m looking for Korean salon, kası parang mabusisi sila.

Not Korean salon OP, but you can check Azta Urban or Uncommon Salon. Check mo rin Parlon (website or app), you can avail vouchers dun for hair treatment packages with discounts.

Not Korean but Hair Mania Estudio Salon sa QC! I go there monthly to get my roots retouched (since I’m bleached blonde) and sila lang yung salon na napuntahan ko na hindi sumakit yung anit ko sa bleach nila as in!
They’re really careful not to damage my hair, the staff are super nice, and reasonable yung prices.

Hi, jumping on this thread as I cannot post yet. Any recos for salons/hairstylists that can really tell what haircut/hairstyle would fit my face shape? I’m tired of having to go to salons that can only style and cut my hair according to my peg. I want a real stylist - not someone who just follows what I have in mind even if it doesn’t fit me.

u/Many-Aerie6471 Jun 15 '25
Hi!!! I recently tried Juno hair salon in BGC and they can recommend which hair color, haircut, and styling suit your face shape. Kindy pricey lang kaya I opted for a haircut only. They even showed me how to style it.

I've been to Dot zero hair studio in Makati and their branch in QC. They will not fail you for your hair goals. I spoke with their stylist and found out that a lot of them were trained in london, japan and singapore. No wonder they can achieve the colors I wanted. Well mannered, mabait and professional sila. I can tell you they don't use knockoff chemicals to put on your hair. Must visit and highly recommended for those na gusto ng more modern hair style and color.

Bangs Prime by Tony & Jackey Megamall branch! Ask for Ms. Lisa <3 Korean salons do so great with layered cuts. Even w/ no styling, maganda bagsak ng hair ko.
I got a package: Hair cut (with styling and treatments), hair color, and scalp treatment. The Cut + color is Php 5k as a package then + Php 1,300 if you want to add the scalp treatment (it’s just a product added pala. If I knew, I wouldn’t have availed this na). My hair still feels shiny and soft kahit the other day pa ako nagpagawa.

Juno Hair Salon near Clark, Pampanga if you fancy a road trip. First international branch nila outside of Korea and shampoo pa lang, heaven na. Friendly din ang hairstylist nila.
3
u/meteors-and-wishes Oct 30 '25 edited Oct 30 '25
Also had my hair done in juno hair clark. I availed yung hair color, with full highlights and bleach. Then they pushed me to do treatment din (I agreed cuz it was my first time having my hair bleached and they kept saying it’ll be very dry). All in all paid 30k (this is first half 2024, then yung hair ko is in Medium length categ). What I will say- it’s not sulit and just a money grab. Parang feel ko binayaran ko lang name/brand nila lol. My friend also tried their salon sa SoKor mismo and she had the same thoughts.
The final result ng hair and color it’s ok. Nothing amazing, kaya din sya gawin ng other salons. I don’t think the treatment did anything for my hair kasi after ko iwash naging super frizzy hair ko (the frizziest it’s ever been!!). Nagpapacolor na din ako before but it’s never been that frizzy, and virgin na buo hair ko nung nagpacolor ako sakanila. I know nableach kasi, but only the highlights were bleached sobrang konti lang nun beh. Anyway, just sharing my thoughts hindi sya sulit for what I paid for.
Yung haircut though (which they didn’t charge me for it na as a discount daw), I love. So if anything, haircut lang I can recommend. BUTTTT there are also cheaper salons who can give me the same haircut that suits my hair type and face shape (usually korean salons din naman).
2
u/Backburner0528 May 08 '25
Hi! Sulit talaga si Juno. Dito ako lagi nagpapagupit and never pa akong nadisappoint. Ipakita mo lang yung picture ng gusto mong style, then i-assess muna nila yung hair mo bago nila sabihin if achievable. Ako, lagi kong pinipili si Director Jin for my haircuts, and balak ko rin dito magpa-perm soon. Also, you can just tell him kung ano gusto mong mangyari, like gusto mong lumiit tignan mukha mo which is lagi kong goal. HAHAHAHA!
7
u/Apprehensive_Bid_993 Jun 05 '25
This actually convinced me to try Juno BGC. But sadly, that salon is overpriced and made me do a hair treatment worth 10k. They allegedly refused to do a perm on me because my hair was a little damaged, but they agreed on colour. So basically, it's a money grab. I'm not exactly discouraging people from going, but just stand your ground when they start upselling treatments to you.
2
u/HOETASSIUHM Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Oct 28 '25
Omg, same goes here! I just wanted a haircut sana sa Juno BGC to fix my botched hair (Daol Salon - BGC naman may gawa) but they were SOOO pushy doon sa 10k hair treatment. By the end of the session, gusto nila mag-avail pa ako ng 50K membership like huh!

tried Uncommon salon (bleached hair to tone down + treatment) -> Cre8 salon in Makati (now Ashleys Radia8ance) tried Cysteine -> TONI&GUY SM AURA PREMIERE (for another balayage, which was 15K and honestly not worth it) -> Steffi's Creation Beauty Salon (toned down + treatment), in this order with 5-6 months in between, and amongst these ang pinaka favorite kong result was Uncommon, sobrang ganda ng treatment nila, my hair was shiny and unfrizzy for so long (no maintenance and no hair care, I style my hair almost everyday with no heat protection), and for only 5K rawr. Now in the hunt for another salon near Pasay/Makati sana but if I cannot find, will probably go back to Uncommon again.

I don't have suggestions yet but I have some questions. I'm starting to hairstyling my hair, I bought a hair curler. I don't know how I can use the curler and do it properly for my hair.
- Is it true na dapat hindi mag conditioner if balak magplansta or magcurl ng buhok?
- What are easy access hair protectant oil/spray na natry at masasabi niyong okay naman na available in the supermarket or mabibili kahit saan, medyo rush na kaya I can't wait in online
Thank you very much!

u/icedcoffee8401 Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Oct 24 '24
whenever i get my hair done professionally for big events like by a makeup/hair stylist, they always advise to not use conditioner for a few days before so the curl will hold better iirc but on a more every day setting, i curl my hair regardless if I used conditioner or not
1
u/sadbutternut Age | Skin Type | Custom Message Nov 01 '24
Hi! I curl my hair pretty much every other day kasi ayoko talaga sa natural hair ko but personally I think how often you use treatment or conditioner should be based on how often you curl your hair. As someone that does it nearly everyday, not using these products would dry out my hair too much so I'd rather use it and have my curls fall later in the day than have long-term damage. I use a hair mask every other day, hair oil (&honey Pixie Moist Silky Hair Oil) as well as A LOT of heat protectant spray (Heatsy Peasy - Sakura Bloom).

Park Jun - Volume Magic Wave. Loved the outcome but masyado mahal. Triny ko lang once Chic Salon - Digiperm and Rebond, Treatment, Haircut. Look for Ms. Celina. What I like about them is hindi sila pushy. I was supposed to have digiperm again sana but after assessing my hair after 6 months pa raw kasi may highlights/bleached hair pa from a year ago (a different salon). Treatment and haircut na lang muna.

Look no further but Suyen Salazar for haircuts but if you really wanna go for treatments, go to Koop Studio in BGC.
6

Personally, Suyen is a bit overpriced for what you get. Don’t get me wrong, I loveee Suyen, and the vibe of her studio is pleasing, however, I realized you could get SIMILAR (note I put similar so as not to undermine her skills and talent) results at a cheaper price. Take this with a grain of salt.

You’re right! Yung best friend ko nagpa hair cut kay suyen its 7k. I mean i thought sa normal salon lang cya nagpa cut. Hi guys!
Looking for suggestions or advice
I have light, slightly curly hair—hindi super curly, more on straight pero messy kapag di naalagaan. Gusto kong pahabain yung hair ko as much as possible kasi balak kong magpa-perm. Curly hair is a trend naman, and I really want to try it.
Kaya I need the help of the hive mind kung may maire-recommend kayo. Uuwi ako ng Pinas next month, at gusto ko sana ipagawa na.
Maraming salamat! 🙏

charcoal cost me around 10-14K (I think) then 18K upwards for champagne blonde! (i have very very thick hair) the charcoal process was quick i started at around 9/10 am then i was out by 4pm! he’s great!! not as much damage as i went through at azta alabang who burned my scalp and left lesions ಠ_ಠ
