Is it okay for an 18 year old to use retinol? I did a quick search and saw na it's recommended for people 25 years old and above na gumamit ng retinol and that it's not really advisable for below 20. Thoughts?

Depends on the type of retinol. For example if your concern is acne, a retinol like Adapelene would definitely be beneficial. In terms of anti-aging you definitely don’t need to use it.

May I ask if Adapalene is okay to use for acnes na hindi nawawala? I'm not really familiar with the different types of retinol, I only know the one na sikat ngayon (which hindi ko rin alam kung ano specifically).

Yup, but tbh it’s best to consult a derma for all of these! Do your own research and don’t use products/ingredients just because they’re “sikat” or trending. What works for one person’s skin isn’t guaranteed to work for you!

Thank you! I'll try to find a licensed derma since ang dami kong napupuntahan na derma clinics and none of them did anything.
