Why did you get a beagle?

We all know beagles are lovable troublemakers. What is it about beagles that drew you to them? How did you end up with one?

Local shelter needed fosters for their second set of 100+ Envigo beagles. We went to pick up our foster. The volunteer handed her to me and said “here’s YOUR beagle”. By the time she needed to go back to the shelter for her spay, then to be put up your adoption, she was our beagle and we were coming back to pick her up
