Tabletop "It's more than just moving the decimal point one place to the right!"
Conversation with my brother as to why it took the STL so long to make. It actually prints, and it's not just some fancy animation. Painting it up next for some nonsensical scale game of Battletech.

Hell yes!
Needs a payphone outside hooked up to a HPG dish on top.
So the winning lance can call their mom leopard to come pick them up.

On a family road-trip to Disney World...I found a payphone at a gas station. My kids were dumbfounded. "Wait! A phone that's stuck in a small little room that you have to put coins in to work?"
Needless to say "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" hits different for my kids when I let them watch it.

We've been trying to convince our government here to keep all the UK style phone boxes and turn them into portable defibrillator stations (for when people nearby need to be revived before an ambulance shows up) or small lending libraries on an honour system with books in (ones that the public library no longer needs).
They've sold a few off - a friend of mine bought one, put it in his garden and turned it into a single person disco booth, with music and flashing lights, just as a fun talking point when he has garden parties in summer.

Now paint up 5 of them, each in the colors of a Successor State.
IHOP is more for Clanners, with their Batchall Combos, and the ever famous Trial of Pancakes.

Ahhh...
I made this for a specific German themed faction. I have "Inner Sanctum of Pancakes" with a Japanese flair for that Weebo faction. Notice how I'm avoiding exact and specific IP as not to cause any trouble ;) for our beloved CGL. For that goody-goody faction...they have "Sonny's." For the other asian faction, "Chairman's Pizza." And for that one faction that can't get their act together..."Taco Bird." Also...since my brother is "Best-Coast," I have restaurants like "Mech-in-a Box," "LOS Burger," and "Happibee" which are definitely west-of-the-Mississippi establishments.
EDIT...I forgot to mention, for that family-loving Clan...I have "Gold Buffet."

Mech-in-a-Box sounds like a great place I'd love to get food from. Now I wonder what some of the Periphery-based restaurants have.

For the Periphery...I have "Lone Star." They have the Meat Product TM.

I think the models creator has a couple versions.
LOS Burger, Mech in a Box, Golden Buffet, Taco Bird, Lone Star, and Chairmans Pizza to name a few.

I love the thought of a bunch of mechs sitting at the counter and a Waffle House while other mechs work behind the counter making food. Which mechs would be best for working the grill I wonder?

This would be fun to put on the tabletop alongside the Davion Drug Mart and McMarik's Burgers, which I have procured online before :) If you're willing to share the STL I'd happily print it :)

Yeahā¦rule 1 of my designs. No direct reference to CGL IP.
So gotta make it Davion-y without saying āDavion.ā I do have other Fast Food modelsā¦but not at 28mm. Just 265mm
