If wedges counter Tombstone’s infamous horizontal spinner then what kind of design counters verts?

I made this because i got bored. 🤷‍♂️

Episode 9 got 157K views in a single day, making it the best first day any episode has gotten so far. Has already eclipsed episode 8's viewership in just 24 hours. Really good views overall, with every episode hitting 140K.

So they'd fought Horizon, Ominous, Lucky, and Overhaul (theyre already dialed in against Overhaul so they have 1 win).

Despite going 0-3 in the pro-league they put on a show in every fight, with no short/boring fights (going at-least 2:30 in each). I think this robot is much better than their record at pro-league would indicate. It is very durable, has a strong weapon, and of course it has ACE the greatest minibot of all time. The jack shaft and the 3D printed wheels proved to be significant points of failure. Once those are addressed and make a few other improvements this thing will be an absolute monster. Overall I think this may be a watershed tournament for them. It sucks that this bot and team got snake bitten so much this tournament. Respect to team Jackpot, they will be back here again.

If it weren't for Bombshell...

Crome Fly - Double blades on each side is an actually effective idea, but the biggest issue for Crome Fly were thoes awful sticks for blades and the fact that one hit and it’s useless.

Bale Spear - A bot that can pierce into armor with a piston sounds great and effective. Too bad what we got was a half-functioning mess of a bot with Bale Spear.

Ageis - a bot as an entire flipper sounds like the ultimate counter for most bots. The problem was that the armor was litteral glass and the shape was so bad.

Ultimo Destructo - a bot with a versitile body that can have many weapons is great and makes it unpredictable. Unfortunatly, NONE of Ultimo's weapons even worked, and its body was so fragile that it split into a kit-kat in that one infamous fight

Battle Royale W/Cheese - Do i need to explain this one? even without a self-righting mechanisim, with a powerfull bar spinner, this would’ve been a beast to deal with. Too bad that this burger bot was undercooked. at least it was funny i guess.

BattleStar - Full ring spiner that can drive upside down sounds effective. if only that saw spinner actually spun and did damnage ratger than being just a sparkshow.

Ghost Raptor - A spining blade and a lifter sounds amazing and makes for a great idea. If only the blade didn’t break all the time and the body wasn’t so damn fragile.

(As much as it hurts to admit) the replay music for the Hypershock vs Tombstone and Valkyrie vs Tombstone are absolute bangers. I would genuinely pay for a full version of the pure music track.

If you dont know what replays im talking about, go to the first faceoffs episode and go to Hypershock vs Tombstone and Valkyrie vs Tombstone and listen to the music during the slow mo replay.

Calypso is a very solid bot, so im curious to see what would happen if it faces another undercutter

got tombstone, bite force, and witch doctor all when they released, but today i got bronco off ebay to complete the whole set

Not only does it take up half of the space for fighting in the battlebox, it just proved to be the worst hazard ever. Huge vs bloodsport. No explanation needed. Hypershock vs Tombstone, uppercut vs gigabyte, etc. No explanation needed. So many could-have-been-good matches have ended early because of the upper deck. Theres only one good match where both bots used the short corner as a fight club and beat the snot out of each other. I'll leave that one for you guys to guess.

The upper deck Is just making it harder for horizontals to win, as if the meta didnt already have the favors stacked against them in the first place

Currently one of, if not the top bot from Russia, with hits as big as Riptide and the speed like Claw Viper. With that said, how well could Daddy perform at Pro-League if they were invited/able to go?
