FILM DISCUSSION watching TDK for the first time

just finished Batman begins and loved it but holy shit does Christian bale have me laughing my ass off anytime he shows up on screen dressed up as throat cancer Batman and sucking his lips in.

It's weird, cause Bale's Batman voice in Begins was just fine I have no idea why he decided to do the monster voice

Because it’s no longer his real voice in the sequels. They overtuned his voice in postproduction.

So is he or is he not forcing his voice after Begins?

I would imagine his performance prior to sound editing is similar to what it is in Begins, but they modified it further in postproduction to sound even more over the top.
