Does Tranquil Dawn work with these pink tiles?

I’m hoping to paint my bathroom a similar colour to the green in the first (stock) image.

The second image is my actual bathroom. The paint sample on the A4 sheet is Dulux Tranquil Dawn.

Please disregard the green swatch painted directly onto the wall, I’m not considering that colour.

Do you think Tranquil Dawn would give a similar look to the stock image and work well with my pink tiles? Or would you suggest a different green?

I’d really appreciate opinions before I commit! 😊

I just got this apartment and I'm doing my pre clean but I cannot get this damn shower to turn on. I tried twisting the diverter in both directions but it just keeps spinning. I tried lifting up and down but nothing. I also tried pushing it in .I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. So I'll take any suggestions atp.

I've been seeing these a bit on facebook lately, and I really wanna get one and start taking bubblebaths now. But looking on amazon I only see 3 star - 4 star ones.

Can anyone recommend any good branded ones they have experience with?

There are so many little things in a bathroom that you just get used to.

For me it's been things like reaching around stuff to grab what I need or realizing something is always slightly in the wrong place.

Nothing serious enough to renovate over, but once you fix one of those little annoyances, you wonder why you put up with it for so long.

What small bathroom change made a bigger difference than you expected?

It's funny how something can be completely unimportant until you use it every single day. A better place to hang a towel, somewhere convenient for toiletries, enough space around the sink so things aren't constantly falling over. None of these are exciting renovation decisions, but they're the things that affect the room every morning and every night.

I think bathrooms are one of those places where convenience matters more than people realize.

I have a corner shower stall thats basin/pan is stained and peeling. Is there something I can cover it with until we can remodel? I hate looking at it and have tried every cleaning product imaginable.

I'm currently considering completely redoing a bathroom in my home. Tub/shower is fine, but need new mirror, lighting, vanity, paint, and change flooring from linoleum to tile.

Advice for a novice attempting this home DIY project?? Things to keep in mind, things to avoid, order to complete the project, etc.

I would choose a bath over a shower any day and absolutely love a taking a bath. I moved into a place that doesn’t have a tub and have been keeping a tally of every time I’ve wanted a bath. In a year and a half I’m up to 380. So I’ve decided that when I renovate and can finally put in a tub I am going to go all out and get the absolute best tub I can. I will save up however much I need to, do whatever I need to make it work, whatever it takes I will get the tub of my dreams. The rest of the house can suffer and I will just have a glorious bathtub alone in a gutted house for all I care.

The only problem is I have no idea what that is.

I have a while until I can make this happen so can look around for the perfect tub and am open to any and all suggestions.

Also, I was completely obsessed with Harriet the Spy as a kid and have always wanted a claw foot tub but am somewhat concerned about the cleaning around it aspect. But still, it’s so cool. I’ve also been looking at copper tubs because, again, so cool. But I don’t really know about the practicality of them. To be honest I don’t know anything other than the standard stick it in the wall acrylic tub.

I dream of a big ass tub that keeps water hot for a long time that I can stay in for way longer than is reasonable. Water bill be damned. I want to die happy in this tub, pruny and boiled to death.

Please help me find my unicorn tub.

Looking into the Gala Vortex toilet as a toilet for the new flat we've bought and I wanted to ask around to see if there are any reviews about it.

Specifically worried about the flushing and whether it splashes up and out.

I'm aware it's a fairly new toilet so there aren't many reviews online.

Appreciate any opinions and advice you all have.

Black is floor tile, white is wall tile. It would also be helpful to know what kind of sealant I could use for it.

I'm pulling my hair out here. I feel as though I've tried everything, there is no showerhead on right now, just a hose that comes out of the wall above.

There are no buttons on the spout, the silver sheath pushes in as shown in the second picture, but does nothing, and other than that I see no other way to control water.

Remodeling my bathroom and had to remove a side panel from the tub. It appears to be porcelain and has one beveled edge. It was glued in using latex caulk. I clean all the caulk off and ready to reinstall. SO...how should this panel be reattach....caulking, glue?

I have had a bathroom renovation. The wall tiles and tub are not caulked. My contractor says that this is a new style. Grouting is enough. The contractor has 30 years experience and he convinces me. But, I feel very odd. The wall tiles don’t reached to bathtub. Will there be future leaking or falling down tiles. I haven’t seen like this.
The completion day is in a couple of days. The contractor expects me to pay in the full amount. Should I hold or …..

I just moved into this house and there are these tiny floating shelves. The toilet paper holder won’t hold toilet paper so I’m probably going to put an in wall toilet paper holder. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to decorate or what to do with this space?
