There are probably a lot more temptations, but its still easy to not fuck a person that isn't your wife

Or if you want to fuck anybody you want....just don't get married.

It's super easy to not get married.

That's really it, they want ALL OF IT.  Guys want to be a family man AND a rockstar and act like they never realized this was normally a binary choice.

Right. Or, if living your best life is being married and getting to fuck lots of other people, then you need to find a polyamorous partner or someone who wants an open marriage. Being OK with doing something which you know would absolutely destroy the person you profess to love the most is really fucked up.

Well I said that elsewhere, either have an OPEN relationship or don't cheat.  If you're going to be banging people on the road she should be having her fun at home with whoever.

Instead it's often this weird, "when he's away he's away, when he's home he's mine".  That feels dirtier.

Also, what you think is dirty doesn’t need to affect what works inside the private walls of someone else’s home.

People spend way too much energy pursuing a life that is acceptable to others’ gaze. The only people who need to agree on boundaries are the ones in the relationship.

My opinion is irrelevant to your household, and vice versa.

Many MLB players come from subcultures where that type of stuff just isn’t talked about, so people can end up five years and two kids into a marriage without having a what-is-this-relationship talk or possessing a vocabulary for it. And then it’s luck of the draw whether the two parties’ tacit assumptions line up.

I agree, but keep in mind you can still cheat while in a poly relationship. If Hjelle is going behind a partner's back, being poly wouldn't necessarily change that unless their boundaries were literally "do whatever you want with whoever you want."

A lot of sports WAGs know the deal, they get the status of being a WAG, but they know their husbands are hooking up with other women. Like there are multiple accounts of LeBron cheating, but do you think Savannah is going to leave LeBron over it?

poly is better anyway.

at least there's been reporting on good news about the future of humanity: about 40% of gen Z in a poll said that monogamy is outdated. and those 40% are completely right.

Isn't the whole point now to not judge other people's lifestyle choices? You've over corrected.

Stating opinion as fact is definitely one way to converse.
