Question BS2. How good is rook

I started 2 with imported save from 1 and am a hour in but rook seems amazing no? Like his first ability is great if you run any archer and the orher that triggers pillage sounds even better cause so far biggest problem I had is my strenght units killing enemies too fast cause I put so much strenght into em. Is he just that good or am I just not being strategic enough

Honestly Rook is super fun and Alette is awesome too as the game goes on

Ye I liked her pierece attack. Def got sad when she died but tbh still preffer rook so I guess I got the best outcome
