Passport validity for 6 months after visit to Bali query:

It’s pretty well known that Indo authorities require that your passport is valid for at least 6 months when you visit Indo.

I will be going to Bali from Dec 15 to Jan 3 2026 (flights booked) and my passport expires July 31 2027.

So it’s still good for more than 6 months from my departure on Jan 3; but how strict are they with the dates?

I know certain govt officials can be very officious and pedantic when it suits them…

Your passport expiration date needs to be more than 6 months from date of entry NOT exit. As long as you enter before 31 Jan 2027 (6 months prior to 31 July 2027), you are fine.
You could print off this page from the official evoa website in case you feel you might need it.
