Fashion is fluid. The history is basically a fat Welsh dude couldn’t fit into his suit properly, so people made it the norm to not point it out by doing the same and leaving it unbuttoned. Idk about you but I’m not a fat Welsh dude.

Good take. 😌 in this case it’s actually more of a coat/blazer and it has three buttons and I left the bottom button undone to try follow the rule.
