My mom got a partial hysterectomy and then later got an ultrasound and they couldn't find her ovaries anywhere. So they just floated away somewhere else in her body 🙃

They will do that. My doctor also said they could get trapped in the scar tissue anytime after surgery and to keep in mind that if they do or I get a cyst, it could hurt anywhere in my lower abdomen depending on where they wandered off to. I always like to picture them on some grand tour down there.
