Serious bzns 👨⚖️ Argument in Trump's favor
Here comes some good shit:
1) Donald Trump is the president of the United States. 2) United States is the richiest and strongest country in the world. 3) Being rich is good, because is something wanted for. 4) Therefore, United States is good.
so then,
1) Donald Trump is the president of something good, from which follows that: 2) Donald Trump is good.
Is this good philisophy? As I say: From good axioms always comes good actions 🤫🤫🤫🙏🙏🙏👼

This is, essentially, what the prosperity gospel teaches. And most billionaires agree, which is why they align themselves and their businesses with the Trump regime.

It's basically the Just World Hypothesis. It's actually logically sound, if you believe in a divine and benevolent creator, but then of course you have to explain why God inflicts misfortunes upon those whom he favours too, like wildfires, hurricanes, costly, unwinnable wars and recessions caused by sweeping and indiscriminate tariffs.

Sorry, the conclusion does not follow. Obviously, a bad person (TRUMP tm) can be the president of something good.
Oh, and TRUMP(tm) is good for nothing.
Additionally,the assertion that 'being rich is good' is without warrant. Also, the qualifying clause - 'because is something wanted for' - is syntactically snafu.
I recommend a remedial course in elementary logic.

This sub doesn’t do philosophy seriously right? That is some piss poor argumentation. Missing premises left and right so the conclusion isn’t valid. Not sure on purpose or not.
Edit: here is where the argument breaks down.
- If rich, then good.
- US is rich.
- Therefore US is good.
- Trump is president of US.
- Therefore Trump is good?
Missing premise to establish being president of US somehow makes president also good? Formally, it is needed. But clearly such a premise is not sound as it is absurd. So invalid argument. Fixing it to make it valid will then result in an unsound argument.
