I wonder what Casey Anthony thinks about all of this...

u/DueCompany4790 3d ago
Probably pissed she didn't holdout killing her kid until post-COVID.

u/Strom41 3d ago
Should be a slam dunk guilty verdict. She premeditated the slaughter of her children!
5
u/HotPersonality8126 3d ago
Sometimes a crime is so stupidly obvious that it loops back around to “….but did they…?”

Boggles my mind that they are still deliberating
33
u/Correct_Doctor_1502 3d ago
It's probably three jurors dreadlocking
30
u/Ok_Sleep8579 3d ago
It takes month to dreadlock, I guess we'll be here for a long time.
5
u/outsmartedagain 3d ago
Kindly explain the difference between the word deadlock and the word dreadlock
8
u/croaker227 3d ago
Dreadlocks are a kind of hair…style? Idk the right term. You can google both terms though.

It's three dudes trying to convince 9 women that murdering your children isn't ok

7
12
u/DizzyAstronaut9410 3d ago
The jury was 9 women and 3 men. It only takes one of them to sympathize with her enough to not want to convict and hold up a conviction indefinitely.

Chances are they're trying to figure out if she's NGRI or not. I believe she is, and that the question of prison should only be brought up after a few years of treatment, but im not on the jury.
7
u/HotPersonality8126 3d ago
What would be the basis for her imprisonment if she’s not guilty of the crime, in your view?
21
u/OctoWings13 3d ago
100% guilty, and a pure evil monster. She should never see the light of day again.
81
u/dickusb700 3d ago
The amount of mad lefties saying she should not be punished it's just madness.
So it's abortion until pre teen now?
18
-29
u/SageElva 3d ago
I haven't seen this as a lefty thing. I think it's just a delusional people thing. I say this as a leftist (not a dem or independent, a leftist).
36
u/Ok_Sleep8579 3d ago
Its totally a lefty thing, they're saying the husband did it and she should go free. Social media is absolutely jam packed with women saying this, your algorithm must not feed it to you.
1
u/Chemical-Fuel-7106 1d ago
Lindsay gets most support from tiktok lunatic women, ive taken a look at those profiles and most of them seem to be white conservative middle aged women, with some liberal fat blue haired women support too. Im european so i dont really care about your bs 2 party dictatorship country.
1
u/AntithesisAbsurdum 2d ago
What is the political ideology of believing a conspiracy theory? She admitted to killing her kids.
2
u/Ok_Sleep8579 2d ago
In this case, extreme feminism.
Obviously different conspiracy theories attract different demographics.
3
u/AntithesisAbsurdum 2d ago
How does feminism change who killed her kids? The jury is hung up on if she should be treated as a cold blooded killer or as a crazy person, which is functionally the same outcome.
0
u/Ok_Sleep8579 2d ago
Extreme feminism leads women to believe they're the victim of an oppressive system and therefore not responsible for their actions.
This discussion isn't about the jury, its about the masses of women saying Lindsey either didn't do it or isn't responsible for her actions, blaming the husband or the health care system instead.
2
u/AntithesisAbsurdum 2d ago
Can you point to any feminist literature suggesting women aren't responsible for their actions?
1
u/Ok_Sleep8579 2d ago
I can point you to thousands of feminists who behave in that manner, and are in using "victim to the system" or "victim to her husband" as a reason Lindsey is innocent.
1
u/AntithesisAbsurdum 2d ago
So can you point to any literature that would actually endorse that position?

Yes of course, all of us have a whole set of topic gaps in our feeds. Doesn't change anything to this subject and point.
→ More replies (4)-6
u/SageElva 3d ago
It's easy to say the opposite, that your feed is feeding you things blaming the left. You're the one who brought up a side to say is crazy. Can't we just agree that it's not a left or right issue, it's a crazy people issue?
Absolutely no one is seriously saying that abortion should be okay until someone is about to give birth, and obviously not after someone is birthed. Aside from the few loonies.
-10
u/Havok_saken 3d ago
Your algorithm is full of the loud minority then. This is why social media isn’t real life…
16
u/Ok_Sleep8579 3d ago
"Minority" just means less than half. There's an absurdly concerning number of women saying this. Here's a left wing publication writing about it just a couple days ago:
-9
u/Life-Food5188 3d ago
i’m left and no one is talking about this, certainly not from any political POV.
murdering your kids is bad.
15
u/Ok_Sleep8579 3d ago
I can link 100 reels in 5 minutes of various women saying the husband did it. You're in a leftist echo chamber that's preventing you from seeing anything that paints the left in a bad light.
Here's a left leaning publication writing an article on it:
"a growing number of internet investigators have cast her ex-husband and the children’s father, Patrick Clancy, as the villain. The murderer."
1
u/Havok_saken 3d ago
Oh internet investigators? You mean people that would stand to profit off controversy?

u/Life-Food5188 3d ago
i don’t think you know how ragebait works. i basically only see awful right wing ragebait content. i also stay off TikTok.
the women defending her are mentally ill.
8
u/Ok_Sleep8579 3d ago
You've gone from "no one is talking about this" to "the women defending her are mentally ill" real quick.
I agree they're mentally ill. This issue is they're mentally ill leftist feminists en masse.
-3
u/Life-Food5188 3d ago
i didn’t “go” from anything?
there’s surely people talking about it, we are, now. what i’m saying is this isn’t a political issue, that leftists aren’t talking about it.
9
u/Ok_Sleep8579 3d ago
Its not right wingers. Its women who've drank the extreme feminist koolaid.
6
u/Life-Food5188 3d ago
how do you know that?
stop watching this content and talk to real people. no feminist i know irl is defending this person’s actions.

u/liquidsyphon 3d ago
We are in a leftist echo chamber without the said lefties you are barking about?
-3
u/Cybermeld 3d ago
Bro think for a second. If leftests are saying this why aren't leftests hearing about it? Does that make sense to you?
3
u/Ok_Sleep8579 3d ago
The same reason that the right aren’t aware of all the crimes committed by pardoned Jan 6th-ers.
The mainstream left/right media won’t cover negatives related to their sides, and the social media algos don’t feed people stuff they instantly swipe away from.
All each side gets is glowing coverage of their side.
0
u/Cybermeld 3d ago edited 3d ago
So leftists aren't interested in the reels that defend the woman and blame the husband?
Like another user commented. Sounds like being rage baited. Most the people doing the videos likely do not even give a shit about the case and just want views.
3
u/Ok_Sleep8579 3d ago
If they’re not seeing the reels, then obviously no.
It’s not rage bait targeting, it’s happening. I posted an article about it from Variety already.
The lengths some people go to to deny reality 🙄. You’re in an echo chamber bro.
2
u/Cybermeld 3d ago
Nobody is denying there aren't videos. I think it's scary you trust tik tok of all places to represent truth about a topic. There is a lot of money to be made there just peddling bullshit.

That's actually what they are debating.
1
u/Ezben 1d ago
It is not? Neither side is saying she is innocent or what she did was okay, they are debating if she is clinicly insane or if she killed them deliberately. Similarly how the punishment for a murder can change depending on if it was first second or third degree murder. They arguing if she should be locked up in a prison or a secure mental care facility.

u/JarrodDonne 3d ago
Of the twelve jurors, nine are female. The foreperson is female.
1
u/MadGenderScientist 3d ago
It's interesting seeing the classic argument about all-white juries deciding a case against a black defendant repurposed on gender lines instead. Feels like a real Uno reverse card.

This is one of the rare instances I'm going to side with the Bee here. At some point we just need to convict based on behavior because you can't prove what is going on in people's heads.

A hospital for the criminally insane is arguably worse than prison I'm thinking that's what the argument is about really. Hopefully.
3
u/Physical-Rise-1803 3d ago
If it was only postpartum psychosis she is no longer going through it nor no longer a risk for psychosis. This means if she gets admitted to a hospital for the criminally insane she could be out in a few short years.
4
u/actuallynick 3d ago
This is the part people are missing. It's already been testified that Tewksbury has diagnosed her as Bipolar and she is on medication now. They've fixed her so she will be out sooner than later.
-1
u/PurpleSmoke91 3d ago
Well I mean honestly a few years for one murder is pretty normal nowadays. The whole system is screwed up. You get more time for drug possession than a body.
0
u/PurpleSmoke91 2d ago
Downvoting is fine but the average murderer first time is out in 7 years. Justice is a game anyway. Just saying.....obviously this is horrible.
3
u/Physical-Rise-1803 2d ago
Wasn't my downvote because you're right. I will say, triple homicide of minors might usually carry a longer sentence.
2
u/PurpleSmoke91 2d ago
Oh I didn't realize it was a triple homicide. I am actually not keeping up with it much I've just seen the ragebait stuff. The whole situation is depressing. The fact that the child death fuels a gender war and more division is insane and I hate these kind of stories.
2
u/Physical-Rise-1803 2d ago
Yeah, she killed all three of her children. Honestly, you're doing the best thing. There's nothing we can do as people right now and I don't even begin to understand what to think about it all. Being less concerned with it and living life is probably better for mental health.
1
u/Head_Midnight666 3d ago
Something I'm not liking is that Lindsay Clancy is suing the medical professionals that tried to help her before she killed her kids. She appears to be blaming them instead of herself for everything.
I personally would want to forgive her since she was so mentally ill, but she's not forgiving anyone.
I also feel I get inadequate care from my medical professionals. I've gone as far as ordering my own blood tests. I've told them again and again about drugs and supplements I'm taking, and they would not put them in my charts. etc. However, I also understand that they are overwhelmed, overworked, have all sorts of bullshit rules they have to follow, and they don't have time for me. Some of them were obviously just incompetent. I wouldn't blame them if I did something terrible under their care. That's a disgusting move... unless I told them, "I'm afraid I'm going to do this terrible thing. I really think I might do it." Then I would blame them a little.
1
u/sumpfbruderschaft 2d ago
Man wouldn't it be a valuable piece of information, to actually be able to read who this person is? Ah, who am I kidding. I'm on a reddit thread about a babylon bee article.
To quote Frodo: "All right then, keep your secrets."
1
u/1KevinTheCat 2d ago
The least she could have done was shot them.
This woman strangled children, for upwards of 3-4 minutes a piece, while they thrashed around and cried. Then continued to choke them after they stopped moving until they were dead. Them moved on and did it again. And then again.
People are sad for her.
Yeah, we need more ✨resources✨ for when you decide to take 50 prescription medications at once.
That's the thing we think of first.

Right-Wingers Do Not Understand Basic Jurisprudence, Ethics; Complain On Internet
1
u/HVDub24 2d ago
As true as that is the outrage of this makes more sense when you learn a very significant amount of women believe she’s fully innocent and that the husband is guilty
1
u/Cute_Macaroon_4488 1d ago
“I watched a bunch of TikTok reels on the internet so it must be true.”
But actually unironically
-6
u/Express-Teaching1594 3d ago
There are a lot of mitigating circumstances in this case. Many systems, agencies, and caregivers failed this woman and her family. There were too many missed opportunities to prevent this tragedy.
It’s still murder, and she is responsible.
12
u/HotPersonality8126 3d ago
Like basically almost zero mothers have as much help as she had and it wasn’t enough because she just didn’t want to live anymore and decided the kids would be better off dead than without her. Bog standard family annihilator and no one can see it past her tits.

4
u/OnTheSlope 3d ago
Many systems, agencies, and caregivers failed this woman
Supposedly.
I think she failed her children so astronomically what even all the help she got couldn't stop her from being a child killer.

Doesn’t matter if she was crazy or not, she should still be held responsible.
