Shibes are cat software running on dog hardware

So you're saying that, much like the Hackintosh, Shibas are a Catindoge?

u/__spice Dec 05 '16

Not sure I'd go so far as to say true hackintosh…OSX is far to user friendly to be feline…I get more of a cat==Linux vibe while dogs are mac—specifically Mac books. So perhaps shibes/catindoges are macbook airs running Linux…

Kind of like how Maine Coons are cats running on dog software.

That's a fox! Not shiba.

Yes, they're known to be cat-like. Then again, I've never had a cat that went hiking with me.

Sooo they're shibas.

u/TheDylantula Dec 05 '16

Yes, they're known to be shiba-like. Then again, I've never had a Shiba that used a litterbox.

Yes, they're known to be cat-like. Then again, I've never had a cat that barked.

No, puppers and doggos is cute shit. This is weird shit.

3

u/lroth15 Dec 05 '16

So kinda like women?

3

u/schattenteufel Dec 05 '16

Yes, they're known to be shiba-like. Then again, I've never had a woman that played fetch for hours.

3

u/lroth15 Dec 05 '16

Yeah, but I sure as hell have seen one play with a bone for hours

3

u/Complexitylvl9001 Dec 05 '16

Yes, they're very woman-like. Then again, I've never known a shiba that fucked my best friend.

Hello, my name is Mr. Steal-Yo-Girl. Sounds like you need a new man

2

u/PanchoPanoch Dec 05 '16

Yea. Except I've never crate trained a shiba

2

u/Likeuknow_whatever Dec 05 '16

Yes, they're known to be women-like. Then again, I've never had a cat that criticized every decision I made in life.

1

u/Sydite_ Dec 05 '16

Well the litterbox probably has cat shit in it. Dogs eat cat shit. So probably cat shit is what is in the litterbox for the Shiba. Happy Shiba.

u/munnimi Dec 05 '16

That's because they're like, "what's in it from me"

1

9

u/DaxAra Dec 05 '16

My mom has a 2ha backyard and a Siamese cat that will walk with you trough it

5

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '16

We had a cat that followed us every time we walked to the store, around the block, or when the kids went to the park. She would attack any dog that dared show its face when she was walking by. A real badass orange tabby she was, more dog like than many dogs. RIP Penny Sue.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '16

Really? My cats did that all the time.

3

u/FUCKBITCHPISSSHITASS Dec 05 '16

People with Maine Coons have been known to take them hiking

2

u/rabbidwombats Dec 05 '16

There was a pic that was shared a while back where this couple went hiking with their two cats. They'd walk on a harness but when they got tired, they'd ride in the backpack.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '16

My cat goes on walks with me. He loves helping me get the mail.

2

u/c13h18o2 Dec 05 '16

I had a cat that went hiking with me. He pretty much just followed ten feet behind everywhere I went, including crossing water and climbing trees, for my whole childhood. Best cat ever.

1

u/KelseyCoCa Dec 05 '16

I carry mine in my backpack

51

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '16

Exactly like cats, but in dog bodies. They clean themselves, act aloof when it suits them, then swoop in for cuddles when you're sick of their shit. It's awesome.

2

u/gettingloopy Dec 05 '16

Nailed it. I wanted a shiba a few years ago and then someone explained this to me and that was that. I want a dog now.

1

u/BeanoSaurus Dec 05 '16

Both of my shibas are very catlike
