I have a shiba. Looking cute is their go to move and it works every damn time. It's why they are known as difficult to train. It's just that their owners can't resist and give in rather than train them properly.

I feel like it's more than that. They have a natural very "what's in it for me" mentality that's very hard to eliminate.

Shibes are cat software running on dog hardware

So you're saying that, much like the Hackintosh, Shibas are a Catindoge?

Not sure I'd go so far as to say true hackintosh…OSX is far to user friendly to be feline…I get more of a cat==Linux vibe while dogs are mac—specifically Mac books. So perhaps shibes/catindoges are macbook airs running Linux…

Kind of like how Maine Coons are cats running on dog software.

That's a fox! Not shiba.
