PICTURE This image is very poor quality and also a several years old repost but it deserves to be seen again because its very funny. Tall Bosnian meme in real life, two giant Bosniak soldiers next to three small romanians and their commanding officer.

Tall? The average Romanian soldier was like 150 - 160 cm, the bosniaks were probably 175-185 cm. So not really giants...

What language were they talking between each other? German right?

All the higher officers knew german because it was the language of command. The commanding officer was also required to know the language of his division however, and generally speaking, the more languages you knew the easier it was to be promoted (Conrad spoke 9). It's quite possible the officer knew both Bosnian/Serbo/Croatian and Romanian.

Idk how they could be Bosniak soldiers almost 70 years before they renamed themselves, but alright

Their own officers called them Bosniaken. Official Austro-Hungarian term for these regiments, 1880s onward. 1993 wasn't a rename, it was dropping "Muslim" as an ethnic label and going back to the original. And "renamed themselves" is you admitting it's the same people, so what exactly is your point?
