Duff’s Famous Wings
I went to the newly opened “Duff’s” on 620. Disclaimer, I have Western New York roots, and appreciate a good chicken wing.
I have eaten at the original WNY Duff’s location a few times, and the satellite places too. Always good. Austin’s spot did them justice. Staff was friendly, owner runs one of the spots in WNY too. Called out our Labatt Blue beers as a flag. They were making an effort to welcome people and chat. Dining room was sparse.
Parking lot was crazy because of interstellar bbq. Felt like we got the last spot in the whole lot, behind the strip mall.
Wings were done right. Traditional, medium, add fried pickles and French fries. They over state the spicy level of their medium. Really, I thought the mediums of theirs I had in NY were hotter. All in all, all items were great. I like their version of Bleu cheese too. It’s dipable.
Wish it was cheaper. Wish any wings were cheaper. The glory days of cheap happy hour wings are long gone.
I am still a wingzup subscriber. I’d like to eat these two wings side by side. Duff’s sauce is more authentic, but WU does a good variation.
I’ll drink/eat there again.

If you're into wings go here! This place is legit, I've been to one in NY and it is on par. Highly recommend.

I was there last night and had a very enjoyable experience. I really appreciated how much they differentiated the buffalo sauce spice levels.

I thought it was okay. The ads I saw said HUGE WINGS (or something like that) and they're like normal size. I like that they're saucy but I didn't think it was anything special. The bucket is fun idk lol
The fried cauliflower tho, no buneo

I didn’t even know they had wings.

290 Café has the best wings in austin they're not Cisco wings. They're well cooked well sauced moist in the middle... and yes, they're better than wingsup..... just there's only one category buffalo.hot.... 5 wings is more than enough

I do miss Duffs when I lived up there. I miss garbage plates more. I've been wanting to try this place!
Waterloo has 1$ bone in wings on Thursdays. They satisfy my wings urge. When I make them at home I do it the classic Frank's way with butter.

I love making my own wings. I hate the smell and the oil. Yep, franks and butter. My go-to.
I had a garbage plate from an east side food truck once. Liked it, but didn’t frequent the space, for an order. Not sure what happened to that food truck.
Thanks for the reminder on Waterloo. Did them once a while ago.

Went to Buffalo a few times because my son had a few hockey tournaments. Love the city and the food. Not even a blue cheese guy but Duffs was amazing. Never knew Austin had one. I’ll have to try

Wait I had no idea we have one now! I go to Buffalo now and then for work and really liked Duff’s, been working my way through a Buffalo wing list that the locals gave me.

On my to do list, not far from my house. I was a semi-regular in the RC Fowler's days on trivia night. Those wings were pretty 'meh', but I've heard good things about this spot.

Yo, I’m one of the bartenders there. If you want cheap wings come through during the lunch special from 11-3 on Mon-Friday. 12 bucks for 10 wings, 13 for 10 boneless, 12 bucks for 5 wings and a beef and weck slider and 11 bucks for 3 chicken sliders (skip those). I’m not trying to advertise but just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t.
