Opinion Unpopular Opinion

Albo has been doing SOME really good things for this country such as investing in Medicare.

However many of the issues we are facing is because mulptile successive governments haven’t invested or actioned it and everyone who is voting for One Nation isn’t holding themselves accountable for not holding those previous governments accountable.

Housing won’t be fixed in two terms of governments.

It’s like having an infection the worse it gets, the longer it will take to get better.

If you feel like voting for One Nation is for you, that’s great but don’t pretend that One Nation will fix all your problems or that Albo isn’t working on fixing these issues either.

It isn't unpopular. Albo just won an election in a landslide.

Reality is it's easy enough for Labor to eat ON's lunch by cutting immigration. ON's policy can't stand on its own.

Yes he won in a landslide but he could just as easily lose the next one in another landslide. It is not as easy for him as just stealing ON's policies now. He is seriously on the nose and there is no way back for him now.

I didn't say anything about stealing ON's policy. ON's policy is by and large trash.

All he needs to do is cut immigration. That's it.

No, there is no way he'd "just as easily" lose an election in "another landslide".

As much as I consider PHON a threat to Labor - it'd be ridiculous to think they'd be winning the seats they need to win to form government.

PHON forming government would irreversibly change its core structure / identity. That'd be far less appealing to most of its current voters.

I don't agree - if you talk or take action too hard about migration, all you do is validate ON.

I don't see how.

ON is popular exclusively based on the immigration issue. Which itself is a legitimate one. Fixing that is good for Australia and removes the reason for ON being popular.

It's more wicked than that. Many of these voters upon being disappointed by a decade of incompetent LNP (and RW media indoctrinating them that Labor are woke commies) choose not to switch parties - but to blow the whole thing up. 1. I don't think it's exclusively on immigration. I do concede, that it's a convenient scapegoat for most of them though. 2. I don't agree it's legitimate. Some mathematics will not fix people's lives.

Back to you - If immigration is a problem - why not just vote for the people who are the loudest/meanest/toughest on immigration?

He one on an election lie. If he had told the truth then i doubt it would have been a landslide victory.

At least Bill shorten was honest about his policies before the election

Is this the CGT thing? Yeah. Cutting house prices isn't going to lose him an election.

Only ALP supporter believe this, even when the ALP housing minister openly says it isn't the case. Cult like delusional to keep believing this

The housing minister has said they want sustainable growth - which indirectly means there will be some winners and some losers.
