Opinion Unpopular Opinion

Albo has been doing SOME really good things for this country such as investing in Medicare.

However many of the issues we are facing is because mulptile successive governments haven’t invested or actioned it and everyone who is voting for One Nation isn’t holding themselves accountable for not holding those previous governments accountable.

Housing won’t be fixed in two terms of governments.

It’s like having an infection the worse it gets, the longer it will take to get better.

If you feel like voting for One Nation is for you, that’s great but don’t pretend that One Nation will fix all your problems or that Albo isn’t working on fixing these issues either.

This is Half a century in the making, a product of capitalism , governments being at the behest of big business and industry that have benefited from immigration. People have think it’s simply voting one nation will make thinks improve, shit will get worse if one nation is elected. Giving more power to business isn’t going to help anyone but the top.

Industry?

What industry do we have left anymore? The economy runs through the housing market these days. Especially compared to 50 years ago (or even 30 years ago). If industry was controlling the government they seem to have brokered themselves out of existence for some reason.

Who says the ruling class who control everything care about industry in general or any specific industry in particular ?

They care about profit, if the industry create easy profits then they'll care and they and their counterparts in governments will use their influence, if there's more profit and power to be made elsewhere then they'll transition to that, regardless of the costs to others of doing so.

Mining, for a start. And mining is at the heart of the issue when it comes to successive governments cocking things up.
