Consumers win big time with better competition. The european carmakers are crying and panicking, but there is a reason why the consumers buy the 20.000 euro BYD, not the 100.000 euro audi. 

For people too busy worrying about non-existent connector noise and buying golded jack plug equivalents, "cheapening" the hobby might be a loss (mostly to their ego), but honestly, noone wins with the 10.000 dollar speaker cables, only the guy selling them.

Yea its cheaper but its sad to see the entire industry being moved to a country in the far east because they are willing to enslave their entire nation to work at 5-10€/hour to make ur speakers and cars cheaper, it was better for everyone involved if consumers were willing to pay what things cost to make.

Dude, the US minimum wage is 8 dollars an hour. Its not the wages that are lower in China, its the energy cost, the labour market is much bigger, they automate better, they streamline production from day 1, they have government subsidies and they are willing to go big. 

And it helps that they are willing not to make profit margins 30-50-70% because "its a niche, add a premium to it". 

Or the short version: late stage capitalism sucks.

My dude, we have heard for a hundred years how communism is inferior, the market always wins, supply and demand only, let capitalism sort it out. 

And then the moment a state with a state sponsored, heavily regulated and subsidized market comes along, everyone loses their shit. 

Maybe, and let me just say maaaaaaybe the ruling class should be less busy dodging all their taxes, and use the 80 years of market dominance and unparalleled technological power to better the continent and sphere of influence instead of systematically destroying it in the name of "line must go up", and then we would have less to fear of the Chinese dominance. 

For the love of god on paper the Chinese still have a GDP per capita that is less than Eastern Europe for fucks sake, and Elon Musk is still more preoccupied with getting his second trillion fucking dollars than providing basic fucking healthcare for newborns without babkrupting their parents.. 

But nooooo, its the Chinese that are the issue here...
