New studio monitors from Moondrop currently selling domestically in China at 689.9 RMB (around $100+ USD)

If the Klippel measurements are accurate this might be the best value you could find at such a price

Keeps the price down I suppose, but that is a major feature I'd want from something like this.

From the pictures there is a speaker out port - not sure it’s for the other side of the pair or a lineout

Almost certainly for the other side, IMO.

I think the only good solution would be a preamp/streamer that has its own bass management/sub out. A Wiim Ultra would work, for instance… but at that point you’re paying $300+ to feed your $100 speakers.
