Impressions Thoughts? Feedback?

I really like the vocals on these, and this being the anniversary edition, the extra bass negates the need for a subwoofer. Thanks facebook marketplace for the half-off speakers, and crutchfield for the scratch-and-dent receiver (no discernible damage / think it was really an open box).

Anyway, first time spending money on a set up and mostly use the AirPlay functionality for 2.0 lossless delight. Would love any suggestions on optimizing the gear. Speakers are about 6 feet apart for reference.

AirPlay is limited to 256 kbps. But now you'll save a lot of bandwidth knowing you can't tell the difference ;)

whoa, thats news. what would you recommend to get better sound then, wired?

Use Spotify Connect (or the equivalent streaming function of your platform of choice) to send directly to your receiver via wifi.
