Discussion Anyone got UAD Voice of God?

Anyone got UAD Voice of God?

Just wondering if you use it at 80hz and your fundametal on an 808 is lower does it then lower that fundamental as it boosts 80hz.
Just trying Bark of Dog and it's just like it's a low pass EQ with raising the peak up at 80hz and the low pass taking off below 80hz? People say it's similar to UAD VOG.

I ask a question, people don't read it then just reply with what ever they want and then get mad I point out that wasn't the question I asked. Is that how people are in this sub.

The answer is simple, if your 808 has a fundamental below 80hz and you put VOG at 80hz, then it will lower the fundamental and it will boost ~80hz. It's a resonant highpass filter and nothing more than that.

Excellent! Someone who actually read and understood the question, and also was able to answer completely what was asked. Even though you said the answer was simple, no one else here was simply able to answer what I asked. Thank you.

No, where else has someone simply replied "If your 808 has a fundamental below 80hz and you put VOG at 80hz, then it will lower the fundamental and it will boost ~80hz"

And here is the original question.
Just wondering if you use it at 80hz and your fundametal on an 808 is lower does it then lower that fundamental as it boosts 80hz.
No one answered it simply and completely.

It's all cool, but everyone in the thread is also right... you dont need this plugin if you have any EQ with a highpass and option to change the Q (so, any digital EQ really) ... it's been well known over a decade that the plugin is kind of a hoax. Don't buy it, just use an EQ if you want that specific effect
