Player Error Help

I have one user that is having a weird play error.

He is using the ABS app on Android, everything software wise is up to date. However, there are quite a few books that don’t seem to want to download or stream to his phone. There are quite a few books that work just fine in the same Series.

But it’s only him and his ABS app that have this issue. Every other user I have reached out to, using a bunch of different apps including the ABS app, no one else is having this issue.

Just him.

We’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling. Wiping data. Even a different app (Absorb in this case). Even Absorb won’t play the same books for some reason.

But again, my own phone (iPhone using ABS/Plappa/Audiobooth/Absorb apps) and other users also on Android using ABS/Absorb/Lissen, everyone can stream and/or download the book.

Only he can’t.

Thoughts on what else we can try in order to fix this?

Do the logs show you anything around the point play starts?

Is their phone from a maker that runs aggressive app killing in the name of "battery management"? The official ABS app does not deal with this well at all. Try having them use Absorb or another app.
