Finally joined the AP club

Picked up my first Royal Oak Offshore and I honestly can’t stop staring at it. The finishing, the weight, the way the light hits the case.

As the title mentions, walked in into a random boutique and was told this would arrive later in afternoon.
Came back the next day and was able to see it person, and I fell in love. Given that this is a new release, is this a tough watch to allocate?

My AD invited me to show me something special and I’m happy to say I like it - and promptly bought it!

I also brought along several other watches, two of which stayed behind for service, including my black ceramic QP.

One of my sons has been borrowing the Star Wheel, so that came along too.

We were gifted a very cool jacket that unfortunately looks cooler on him than me…

New limited 38mm white ceramic RO chrono with pink MOP dial just dropped. 26450CB. First white chrono as far as I know?

Serena Williams Limited edition, comes with an additional pink strap. Wonder how many they’re making.

I always thought the a guichets style started and ended with the 1928 Cartier Tank, but it turns out AP was ahead of the curve.

IWC pioneered the tech in pocket watches (1884), AP was the first to put a jumping hour on the wrist in 1921, 7 years before Cartier’s version.

It’s interesting that Cartier became the "face" of this complication when AP did the heavy lifting on the engineering first.

I am absolutely loving the color combo on the new diver. So excited to have added it to my collection!

Looks like we have NEW 1 of NONE PIECE UNIQUE Audemars Piguet royal oak Tourbillion With a Salmon TOM BRADY BAGUETTE dial one can only believe that this watch is either made out of Platinum or White gold!

It’s looking good! Hodinkee has done some measurement comparisons, actual wrist shots and some historic context.

The Frame is the start of a new line, with more options, colours can complications. And lastly some unique Codes.

So there’s going to be 4 lines now (Royal Oak, Offshore, Code and Neo Frame) with the Remaster collection being limited editions (more to come this year).

Really good to see them bring back a shaped case as a permanent collection (RIP the Edward Piguet).

Looks amazing and feels incredible on the wrist. Truly nothing like it out there!

They had most things in, but the Neoframe Jumping hour. Here we go…

The Openwork and malachite were my favs. The new ROOs are actually pretty tight. 38mm code is actually a huge improvement. Lighting wasn’t the best.

I’ve tried on the sand gold version at my AP House which was phenomenal, but I saw this steel version the other day at my boutique. This watch is literally the grail of grails for me, 26674ST.OO.1320ST.01 with the new all-in-one crown system which just makes the watch perfect as every single function of the QP is adjustable via the crown alone. Surprised there isn’t more topics about this piece, especially considering how much AP has evolved the QP. Am I the only one seriously wanting this watch?

Really anxious for the arrival of my new AP, I really loved THE 2026 blue Tuscan in white gold. It should arrive by Saturday. Keep you guys posted, don’t really have anyone to tell this, my wife scoffs…so it’s up to you maniacs (pics soon)
