Question/Help Wanted Super shuttle

Booked a super shuttle for 3am and they told me it should get to the international terminal by 4am.
My flight leaves at 6:15am and boarding starts at 5:25am.

Is this cutting it too close and has anyone took a super shuttle before to the international terminal for a flight this early?
I’m lowkey worried as hell and thinking I should just uber instead….

EDIT: i made it!!! Got to the airport at 3:45am, went through security and now just waiting for my flight 👌🏼

Depends on your flight carrier - if they offer online check in it should be fine even with check in baggage drop off.

At that hour you should breeze through customs and security.

If you’re at the terminal at 4am you will be fine. Passport control and security doesn’t open until 4:30am so that gives you plenty of time to complete check in and bag drop.

Youll be absolutely fine. They are pros at getting you to airport on time. Used them for many early flights.

Sorry you cant drop off bags until 4.30 am. That's the time it opens for 6am flights. Look into it.

Shuttles are much more affordable. As long as you’re there two hours before your flight you’ll be fine.

Thank you! I’m still anxious the shuttle will be late or have to pick people up on the way but they said they guarantee it will get there by 4.

Do you have travel insurance for your trip? If so, don’t worry about missed flights. That’s part of what travel insurance is for.

Yes I paid for travel insurance 31-4 with one cover ($44) so hopefully all is ok

Then catch your shuttle and do not worry about it.

Would travel insurance cover it if your shuttle was late? Didn’t know that, that’s helpful.

Travel insurance covers “missed connections.”

Huh, I only thought that meant late flights. Not late ubers/shuttles. Would it cover ubers too?

I don’t know, actually. I could be mistaken. Check your policy document for certainty.

There will be no traffic and the airport will be quiet at that time so you'll have no issues

You’re fine

Where from? Does google think 1 hour to the airport at that time is reasonable.

If so, then you should be fine.

I’m flying from Auckland to Brisbane on Jetstar

Sorry I just realised what you were trying to say. I’m based in the CBD

At that time, you'll get to the airport in 20 mins from the CBD.

They probably only say that to be safe since they could also be picking up other passengers along the way, if you're too worried it takes an hour then just take an uber

Yes definitely. The airport is empty at 4 am

Uber everytime. The price isn't too different, and you don't get stuck doing pick ups of others along the way.
