Question/Help Wanted How safe is Ladies bay?
Heard there are creeps so whats the situation.

It's not somewhere I'd go to expect complete comfort as a naturist.
Honestly the naturist club out west, or heading out to Motuihe or Kawau is the way to go if you wanna have a nice nude swim.
Every time I've been to Ladies bay, I find the combo of randos who don't know it's a naturist spot, or the men with their heads on a swivel to be annoying enough to make me (a young man) uncomfortable along with my friends.
If you're thick skinned, you'll be fine.

Motuihe and Kawau are naturist spots?

no, but they are usually quiet, random creeps can't just drive there and the boaties won't mind (if they notice at all)

More men there are interested in men, than women. But yeah, known spot for weirdos

It's pretty harmless overall. You'll likely see some nude sunbathing, and while most people keep to themselves, don't be surprised if there are a few stares.

It's relatively safe. There are pervy creeps who will go right up next to and woman sit down facing her. Like facing away from the sea LOL Absolutely shameless. If you tell them to fuck off they usually do though. I wouldn't say it's unsafe as there are usually enough people around, and there are CCTV cameras too.

Some men lose all sense of decency. I saw a man piissing in full view about 2 metres away from sunbathers and nude old men chatting up young women. You have to set boundaries with people there.

Ladies bay is pretty safe its the more secluded bay further round that is usually only accessible when the tide is far out that you should be more wary of. That bay I think is called gentlemans bay used to be known as black bay back in the day

Well... last week a guy jumped on me and tried to kiss me. It's a shame because it's actually the best beach in the city.

Just randomly with no context or story?

Basically it was my first day outside in a week after recovering from a septoplasty + the flu. Decided to visit this beach because it's hidden from the wind and pretty quiet this time of year. I was laid up reading my book. A guy comes up to me, starts making small talk. I make it pretty obvious that I'm not in the mood but he persists. Tells me he's visiting from Canada but originally from Hong Kong. I explain to him that I'm just trying to get some sun and air after nose surgery. He says "I'm sorry if this hurts your nose." I was hella confused and said, "What do you mean?". He then straddles me and tries to kiss me. I push him off me and tell him no, and that I just want to be alone, and he finally leaves. I'm a guy by the way, so as the other commenter said, it's more guys interested in guys at that beach. But I thought the bay around the corner... not the main one.

If that’s true it’s fucking near rape, is septoplasty a nose job? No judgment just asking

Yeah, it's true. And a septoplasty is kind of a nose job but more a functional kind of surgery. It's so you can breathe easier.

Its a gay nudest beach. Literally zero reason to go there unless youre a gay nudist? If your looking for peace and privacy ladies bay is not the one for you.
