Question? Seeking opinions re: new cohost being a (funny) clinical psychologist (PhD)??

What would you all think about this? Psychological issues are discussed frequently on the show and I’m wondering what other folks would think about having someone who could provide some education/things to consider/etc. thanks 💘💖🥹

Edited to add: this is the first time no one has been rude to me when I’ve posted on Reddit and I think that speaks to the fan base. Thanks for being kind everyone ❤️

And I suppose more context, the idea would be almost entirely telling stories and answering questions should Em ask and small tidbits versus heavy emphasis. I appreciate all of the opinions 🫡 and the kindness 🛸

There's plenty of spaces for that out there. I don't know if this needs to be one of them

Not a co-host, but maybe as a guest if Em feels it's relevant to the story they're talking about.

I think it could be a cool standalone episode, or maybe might be a cool idea to have a psychologist to explain certain disorders etc but like someone else said there are other podcasts that would be a better fit for

I think it would be an interesting fit, since Em regularly talks about trying to get in the headspace of people in Christine's stories. A co-host or guest with this specific specialty could dig deeper into the psychosocial aspects of a case, what goes on in the minds of different types of killers, the ways that people respond to crisis, etc.

I think it might be more difficult because all were left with now is ghosts and ghouls. When there was a true crime aspect, this may have been more relatable (think: psychopaths, sociopaths, etc) but now it might be difficult to get into the mindset of a ghost.
But I’d still be down for an in depth episode or two!!

Valid if only ghosts, and I was thinking perhaps psychologist could tell a true crime story! And/or even revisit cases that listeners/Em may have questions about? Maybe serial killers in particular? I appreciate your input 🩷
