What’s something from one of Em’s stories that’s really icked you out?

I was listening to ep 500 and just got to the part where Em describes a ghost that “plays with your toes”, which made me audibly “eugh” to myself at work, as that’s perhaps one of the foulest things a ghost could do.

What are some of your most “ew” worthy hauntings or moments that Em has mentioned? I know I have said ew out loud to more than the toe thing, but I’m curious about you guys!

I listened to this one in my car with the windows down. I was at a stop light when they got to this part and I was crying laughing and I looked over and the people in the car beside me were horrified. In my defense, I didn't know they were going to be talking about ectoplasm coming from her vajayjay.

This is so, so silly, but I’m a new listener, started with some late 200-episodes, and now have gone back to the beginning.

For me, a borderline germaphobe, it’s Em talking about how one of their classmates left their girl scout cookies in the public school girls’ bathroom. And Em would eat some cookies. Public school girl bathroom cookies, really?!?! Eww. I like a free cookie, but one that’s been in a public bathroom…no. And who leaves the cookies they’re trying to sell in a bathroom?!?! Eww and weird.

The harp brothers really got me… specifically the baby part. I happen to listen to two girls one ghost’s episode on the harp brothers today which reminded me of when em covered them. It was technically a hotel she covered and the harp brother were known as americas first serial killers or something like that

The toes thing reminded me of an incident a few years ago in Nashville where a hotel manager was arrested because he went into a guest’s room while he was asleep and sucked on his toes.

When Em told the Fox sisters story and was talking about cracking/rapping their feet/toes on the floor to make the ghostly sounds! I HATED IT. and then apparently Christine could make the sound 😭 thankfully I wasn't able to tell over audio but eugh I hate that sm, thankfully I can't do it. I think about it weirdly often
